How to get the best results
Make sure to pick when your hair is dry or nearly dry to avoid causing frizz or disrupting your curl pattern
Fluff from the roots only
Insert the pick at your roots and gently lift upward. Don’t drag it through your curl clumps as this can break up definition.
Stretch gently
Want a bit more length or shape? Use the pick to stretch curls at the root for volume without sacrificing curl integrity. Be very gentle.
Pick in sections
Flip your head to the side or upside down and pick in layers for even volume all around. It gives a more balanced, full look.
Go slow, less is more
It’s easy to go overboard and lose definition. Pick a little at a time, fluff, then stop when you’ve hit your desired shape.
Target flat areas
If you have “squished” spots (like at the crown or sides from sleeping), use your pick to lift just those areas.
